  1. Hi Greg, Once again you collected a wonderful selection of classic soul tracks for your ‘Sisters’ blog; Very well done. A difficult labour of love! I suggest that you could reconsider Lorraine Ellison’s recording date. According to my records and to my memory (I bought the L P) 1966 was a very good year!!
Please continue with the great work.

    1. Hi John,

Thanks once again for all your kind and supportive comments.

Thanks also for pointing out my error. Yes, of course the Lorraine Ellison classic came out in 1966. I can’t explain how the mistake occurred. I guess I just had a major brain cramp.

      All the best,

      Greg

  2. Hi Greg as expected the 2nd part was great too. Keep on the good work. We look forward to your next uploads!

  3. Hi Greg are you going to start again or you think 100 is a good number? In any case thanks for your efforts and dedication

    1. Hi Little Bill,

      Good to hear from you.

At this point I am not planning further episodes. I feel that I have more or less done what I set out to do when I started this project. I wanted to share what is in my opinion the very best of the great wealth of female soul recordings. I do intend to keep the programs online so that soul fans new and old can tune in and listen.

Thanks so much for your kind words. It means a lot.

      All the very best,

      Greg
